One week to go: nominate for the ATIEA Awards

As nominations for this year’s Australian Thoroughbred Industry Employee Awards draw to a close, we would like to encourage members to take a moment to recognise the people who support our industry every day.

Across stables, offices and training operations right around the country, extraordinary people work tirelessly behind the scenes to care for our horses and support the teams that make racing possible. Their commitment, professionalism and attention to detail often goes unrecognised, but its impact is felt every day.

The ATIEA Awards are our industry’s opportunity to pause and say thank you.

This year, the ATA is proud to sponsor the Newcomer Award for the first time, recognising those who are new to the industry and already making a meaningful contribution through their dedication, work ethic and potential. Many of these emerging participants are found in our training operations, and this award is a wonderful way to acknowledge and encourage the next generation.

If you know someone who deserves to be recognised, whether they work hands on with horses, in administration, or in an auxiliary role supporting your operation, we encourage you to take a few minutes to nominate them.
